Srinagar, May 13 (KNO): Three terrorists have killed in an encounter in Keller area of Shopian district, the Army said on Tuesday.
In a post on X, the Army, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that search and destroy operation was launched in the Keller area based on specific information.
It said that during the operation, terrorists opened heavy fire, triggering an encounter. “During the encounter three terrorists have been killed while operation is in progress,” it said.
“On 13 May 2025, based on specific intelligence of a #RashtriyasRifles Unit, about presence of terrorists in general area Shoekal Keller, #Shopian, #IndianArmy launched a search and destroy Operation.
During the operation, terrorists opened heavy fire and fierce firefight ensued, which resulted in elimination of three hardcore terrorists. Operation is in progress,” the Army said—(KNO)
